Terms of Use

Use the site, learn the phrases, print the sheet. These are the few rules that keep it available to everyone.

Last updated: 1 November 2026

Using the site

Thai Phrases is free to use for personal, non-commercial language learning. You may print the cheat sheet for yourself, your class or your travellers.

Please do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others, or republish the content wholesale as your own product.

Not professional advice

Emergency phrases are included so you can be understood in an urgent situation — they are language, not medical, legal or security advice. In an emergency in Thailand call 1669 for an ambulance or 191 for the police.

Accuracy

Romanization here is a learner-friendly, tone-marked system designed for pronunciation on the fly. It is not official RTGS and not IPA. We work to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee it in every context.

Outbound links (including affiliate links) go to sites we do not control. Their terms and privacy policies apply once you leave.

Availability

The site is provided as-is. We may change or remove features without notice, and we are not liable for loss arising from its use.
